J.C. Le Roux Scintilla, The House of J.C. Le Roux’s signature Méthode Cap Classique, has just been released in a new 2001 vintage, a refined MCC that can hold its own alongside the finest French Champagne.

Created for the connoisseur in a stylish dark bottle, this Cap Classique embodies sheer elegance and sophistication. A unique blend of 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot noir, J.C. Le Roux Scintilla 2001 is a luxuriously smooth, well-balanced and delicate Méthode Cap Classique that explodes with scintillating bubbles and completes The House of J.C. Le Roux Cap Classique range.

This exceptional signature MCC will captivate you with its glistening golden hue and dry, soft and elegant palate. The wine was matured for eight years on the lees and displays a rich fruitiness on the nose with integrated baked bread flavours.  The House of J.C. Le Roux makes a classic range of Cap Classiques to suit every taste according to the time-honoured French tradition that entails a second process of bottle fermentation.

Under the watchful eye of the Cellarmaster Elunda Basson, the delicate bubbles are formed in the bottle over time in the temperature controlled cellar to ensure a slow fermentation essential for a fine MCC.

Sip on a flute of Scintilla as an exquisite accompaniment to delicate crayfish, oysters, Parma ham and sweet desserts or as the sole companion to the perfect occasion. J.C. Le Roux Scintilla 2001 retails at around R128.00 a bottle at the House of J.C. Le Roux and fine wine stores.
