The House of J.C. Le Roux unveils new look

South Africa’s leading house of sparkling wines, The House of J.C. Le Roux, situated in the heart of the picturesque Devon Valley in the Stellenbosch Winelands, boasts a fresh, trendy new look. The revitalising upgrades include a makeover of the main tastingroom, shop and restaurant, the stylish Scintilla VIP tastingroom and a trendy oyster bar.

The House of J.C. Le Roux is renowned for making fine vintage Méthode Cap Classique and sparkling wines to suit every palate. It is a celebration of sparkling wine representing chic, sophisticated, warm, friendly and charismatic qualities.

The “magic in the bottle” is mirrored by the magical experience when visiting the cellar. The new look has visitors enthralled with a newfound passion and understanding of the art and craftsmanship involved with the production of exquisite sparkling wine.

Adding some extra elegance is the new Scintilla VIP tastingroom with sophisticated yet modern features. Inspiration for this room was taken from the J.C. Le Roux flagship Methode Cap Classique - J.C. Le Roux Scintilla. Replicating this dazzling signature Cap Classique, the room evokes an air of elegance with a slick and sophisticated edge. The room is decorated with textured blacks, velvets, brocades and gold. Chic furniture such as the matt black Louis 15th chairs adds elegantly refinement with classical touches to the room.

The new oyster bar is the ultimate aphrodisiac. Flowing from the original tasting area, here visitors can come and enjoy the oh-so-guilty pleasures of the finest bubbly served with sea-fresh oysters. The bar has a clean, natural and vibrant feel with a very distinct look – combining beautiful soft colours with silver velvets and shimmery finishes. Chunky glass and sandy stones will set the romantic scene of oysters and pearls.

The refurbished restaurant, Seasons, is an unpretentious yet stylish eatery, which offers simplicity and goodness with a focus on taste. Fresh, crisp seasonal ingredients and the finest J.C. Le Roux Méthode Cap Classique and sparkling wines make a sublime combination.  Perfect for a pleasurable summertime sojourn, guest can choose from tasty hot and healthy breakfast options to light and luscious lunches. From the modern kitchen comes a selection of the season’s freshest ingredients cajoled into chic country fare.

The main tastingroom has been transformed into a colourful, contemporary, vibrant, functional and fresh space. An exciting design element present in the room is that of a circle symbolising the delicate bubbles in sparkling wine. The key descriptors for the J.C. Le Roux shop is – unusual yet practical. With its strong visual impact upon entering, it reflects the features of timelessness and unconventional grace tangible throughout The House of J.C. Le Roux.

The House of J.C Le Roux was the first cellar in South Africa dedicated entirely to making sparkling wines. Visitors can come and experience the craftsmanship of a fine vintage Cap Classique and observe the time-honoured French tradition of bottle fermentation in the cellar.  With all these new trimmings and features, a visit to The House of J.C. Le Roux is definitely a must.
