Through the Grapewine

"It's difficult choosing between dry or sweet sparkling wine. So it's best to give your guests the option of both, or go for an in-between sweetness that works well with food and most palates, such as La Vallee" says Elunda Basson, Cellar Master and Winemaker for The House of JC Le Roux.

Elunda recommends the following for your special day:
-Morning weddings: Sweet, bubbly and low in alcohol
-Afternoon or evening weddings: Dry sparkling wine or Cap Classique
-Younger guests: Fresh and fruity
-Mature guests: Drier selections
-Always serve your sparkling wine at 8 degrees just before toasts.
